Workshop Registration Agreement
Please review the following Workshop Registration Agreement before completing your registration for The Photographic Process: Fred Herzog.
By selecting “I have read and agree to the Workshop Registration Agreement” on the online registration form, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms below.
Participants will use the free WhatsApp Messenger app during the workshop for announcements, meeting locations, schedule updates, and communication while photographing throughout Vancouver.
Please install WhatsApp before the workshop and ensure notifications are enabled. By participating, you acknowledge that your mobile phone number will be visible to other participants in the workshop group.
Participation in the workshop may include:
- Seminars, group discussions, image critiques, editing, sequencing, and print review.
- Three guided street photography sessions in Chinatown, Strathcona, and Robson Street.
- Several hours of walking, standing, and travel by public transit during photowalk sessions.
- Outdoor photography in changing weather, light, and urban conditions.
- Responsibility for your own camera equipment, clothing, food, transportation, and personal belongings.
Registration
Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment and acceptance of this Workshop Registration Agreement through the online registration form.
More Than 21 Days Before the Workshop
Registration fees are fully refundable.
Within 21 Days of the Workshop
If your place can be filled by another participant, your registration fee will be refunded less a $50 administration fee. If your place cannot be filled, registration fees are non-refundable.
Cancellation Requests
All cancellation requests must be submitted by email.
Workshop Cancellation
If Legere Fine Art Services Inc. cancels the workshop, registration fees will be refunded in full. Legere Fine Art Services Inc. is not responsible for travel, accommodation, transportation, or other expenses incurred by participants.
I understand that participation is voluntary and may involve ordinary risks associated with walking and photographing in public urban spaces, including uneven surfaces, stairs, traffic, crowds, weather, public transit, and the actions of third parties.
I accept responsibility for determining whether I am physically able to participate and for taking reasonable precautions for my own safety. I am responsible for complying with applicable laws, traffic signals, transit rules, venue policies, and reasonable instructions provided by the workshop instructor.
I am responsible for my camera equipment, personal belongings, transportation, and any medical or travel insurance I may require.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless Legere Fine Art Services Inc., Andrew Legere, and their respective employees, contractors, and representatives from claims arising from ordinary risks connected with my voluntary participation, including personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to property.
Nothing in this agreement excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Participants agree to treat the instructor, other participants, members of the public, and venue staff with courtesy and respect.
Harassment, discrimination, unsafe conduct, repeated disruption, or refusal to follow reasonable safety instructions may result in removal from the workshop without refund.
Participants retain copyright to all photographs they create.
JPEG images submitted before or during the workshop may be displayed solely for classroom discussion and critique. No participant photograph will be reproduced, published, sold, or used for promotion without separate permission.
Photography and video permission is optional and is collected separately through the workshop registration form.
Participants may choose whether photographs or video recordings in which they are identifiable may be used by Legere Fine Art Services Inc. for workshop documentation and promotional purposes.
By completing the online registration form and selecting “I have read and agree to the Workshop Registration Agreement,” I confirm that I have read and understood this Workshop Registration Agreement, that the information I have provided is accurate, and that I agree to the terms above.
Registration is confirmed once payment has been received.
